Finished

Finished is a video project in collaboration with Alex Salinas and Sam De Vriendt. It tries to pinpoint the exact moment an artist considers a work of art finished. When and why does she or he stop adding or subtracting elements? What is the process in the mind that makes her or him decide the work is done... perfect, or at least good enough? Sadly, contrary to its name, the project was never really finished. Shown underneath are some fragments of the pilot we made. With thanks to Koen De Ceuleneer for his cooperation.
