A selection of concepts and designs for different book projects.

• The Livingroom. A book celebrating 20 years of The Livingroom, a quality photo retouching studio. The concept: juxtaposing previously unrelated images to create new meaning. Because the studio invariably only works with images, the principal book has neither text nor white space, while all credits and copy is put in a separate booklet.

• Spada. A book on the life and works of Ercole Spada, Italian grandmaster of car design. The cover typography is based on his trademark design feature, the 'coda tronca'. The aluminium casing is a reference to the historical racing car bodyworks that established his reputation.
